The Pleasanton Police Department and City of Pleasanton Economic Development Division are collaborating on an important Crime Prevention Webinar. The Economic Development Division serves Pleasanton’s business community by building a robust and amenity-rich environment that supports the city's residential and commercial citizens.
Pleasanton businesses are invited to participate in a comprehensive crime prevention webinar tailored specifically for the local business community on Tuesday, November 14th from 10:00 - 11:00 am. This online event is designed to equip businesses with vital knowledge and strategies to safeguard their operations, assets, and employees. The webinar will underscore Pleasanton's commitment to fostering a secure business environment and establishing strong partnerships between the Pleasanton Police Department and the local business community. Attendees, including local business owners, managers, and employees, are encouraged to actively engage in enhancing the safety of their business locations.
Attendees will gain insights into fortifying their business premises against theft, vandalism, and other security threats. This will also be an opportunity to learn about securing entrances, installing surveillance systems, and implementing access control measures. The Pleasanton Police Department will highlight the benefits of collaboration within the business community to prevent crime. The Community Collaboration segment will showcase how businesses can work together to share information, resources, and best practices to enhance security. Attendees will also be educated on the importance of timely reporting of suspicious activities, crimes, or emergencies. The presentation will emphasize the significance of a robust reporting system for businesses and how to establish effective lines of communication with law enforcement. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive question and answer session which will allow participants to seek clarifications, share their concerns, and gain valuable insights from the presenters.
